About Dr. Sonia Parikh

Dr. Parikh is a Stanford-trained board certified and licensed medical doctor and psychotherapist who specializes in the psychiatric evaluation and treatment of adults ages 18 and older. She is currently accepting new patients by telemedicine.

Dr. Parikh works with patients to create individualized treatment plans that usually include mixed modality psychotherapy, medications and evidence-based supplements as needed. She utilizes her extensive medical, sociological and psychological training to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for the people she treats. She supplements her biologic conceptualization of psychiatric conditions with her deep understanding of psychoanalytic thought and sociologic factors, which enables her to think holistically about the human experience and the difficulties that may arise.
